DEVARAHOLE

Devarhole is part of the Shalmala river which originates near Sirsi. Devarhole is about 12 kms from Sirsi. The spot is amidst lush green forests of Sahyadri and there are carvings of lingas, Durga, Vishnu, Anjaneya and other deities along the banks of the river. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees visit Devarhole on the occasion of Shivaratri. Some of them are said to belong to the period of Swadi kings who ruled the region during the 16th and 17th century AD.

How to reach Devarahole
Go in Sirsi-Yellapur Road (SH-93) up-to 'Kadave cross bus stop' (5 kms from Sirsi). Then take left deviation. Again you will find 2 roads, one which moves towards Kadave & other moves towards 'Devadakere'. Go in 'Devadakere' road (right deviation) up-to Bommanahalli bus stop. Then take left deviation go to 'Devadakere bus stop' (10 kms from Sirsi). Then you will find one mud road which moves towards 'Devarahole'. Go in that mud road up-to 2kms you will get 'Devarahole'.

KSRTC buses avilable up-to 'Devadakere' from Sirsi (Sirsi-Devadakere bus). There is no food facility.
