HOSKOTE
Hoskote is a taluk in Bangalore Rural District. Headquartered at the Hoskote town, it consists of 5 Hoblis - Anugondanahalli, Jadigenahalli, Kasaba, Nandagudi and Sulibele. Agriculture, Apiculture and horticulture are primary occupations of people here, although the industrialization in the recent times in Hoskote and places around has thrown up new opportunities for the people.Hosakote is the largest taluk in karnataka having 333 villages.
Hoskote town is the headquarters of the Hoskote Taluk, and lies at the intersection of NH-4 and NH-207 and as such is a busy town with both resident and floating population.
Hoskote Sri Lakshminarayana Temple, Hoskote Nagamuneshwara Temple, Hoskote Dharmaraya Swamy Temple and Hoskote Ayyappa Temple are few temples in Hoskote.
Shirdi Sai Mandir
Shirdi Sai Mandir in Hoskote was inaugurated on the 19th of February, 2009. Kumbabishekam and other opening ceremonies were performed. It has marble statues of Shirdi Sai Baba, and two of his South Indian devotees, Sri Narasimha Swamiji and his disciple Sri Radha Krishna Swamiji.
The Sai Dhuni or the sacred fire is present at the back of the temple. There is also a statue of Lord Ganesha here. All the pujas are conducted according to the Sai Sansthan rules. The temple has a kitchen for preparing prasadam. The whole temple has marble flooring. This is the only Shirdi Sai Temple in Hoskote.

Hoskote is well connected to Bangalore by buses (BMTC as well as KSRTC buses). The nearest railway stations to Hoskote are the Krishnarajapuram and Whitefield railway stations.
